Routines: A Tool for Development

Who is this for?

This course is for individuals working in Early Years settings, from Apprentice through to Manager, who want to get more from their days.

What will you do?

You will engage with a variety of content created in collaboration with practitioners working in settings. This content will include reading and watching to some underpinning principles, examples of good practice and some not so good not practice. Then you will get some strategies for change to take into your work.

What are the benefits?

Routines are a vital part of a day in Early Years, with transitions being a vital place where development can often be hindered. This course will help practitioners to get more out of their day and see key moments through the eyes of their children more. Slowing down in the nursery environment might seem impossible but in this course the benefit of this will for the team and children will be shared too. It will lead to the children having more time to play, which is know is of vital importance and staff having less behaviour challenges to deal with.
