Who is this for?
This course is for every early years practitioner, leader and support staff member who wants to strengthen how the team works together—not just side-by-side, but actively seeking each other out, sharing knowledge, offering help and collaborating so that the children benefit most.
What will you do?
In this course you will:
- Explore the power of collaboration: why seeking help, sharing ideas and working collectively matters for the children, the families and your team culture.
- Identify simple daily practices that build a collaborative culture, e.g., asking a colleague for advice, offering what you know, joining reflections together.
- Build a shared “collaboration” mindset: how you can shift from working in silos to working in a connected, supportive team.
- Use tools and prompts to reflect on how your setting enables or hinders collaboration, and map practical next-steps to become a more connected team.
What are the benefits?
A team that works collaboratively will:
- Feel supported, rather than isolated.
- Share knowledge and wisdom so that the children benefit more quickly and effectively.
- Make better decisions together, because more perspectives are contributing.
- Build a culture of trust, learning and continuous improvement.
- Create an environment where every colleague feels valued and part of something bigger.
